"Studio Belle Visage offers beautiful professional photography. We have over fifteen years experience working with family portraits, children's portraits, high school senior photography and wedding photography in and around Franklin County, Smith Mountain Lake and Rocky Mount, VA. Business owner and photographer, Teresa Bernard, has earned her Master of Photography Degree (2014) and Certification as a Professional Photographer (CPP) through Professional Photographers of America (PPA). She earned her Associate Fellow of Photography Degree through Virginia Professional Photographers Association (VPPA) in 2011, and her Fellow of Photography Degree through Virginia Professional Photographers Association (VPPA) in 2019."

Teresa began her photography business from her home in 2003 under the business name of Photography by Teresa. In 2007 she changed the business name to Studio Belle Visage when the business was incorporated. From 2005 through 2015 Teresa operated retail studio locations in Rocky Mount and Franklin County, VA. Prior to photography, Teresa worked in apparel development and manufacturing management in the local textile industry. She resides in Franklin County with her husband and son. In addition to photography Teresa is passionate about issues involving the health, care and education of special needs kids and adults in her community.

Clients frequently inquire about our business name: Studio Belle Visage. It is of french origin, "belle" means beauty and "visage" means image or about face. Our business name means "studio of beautiful images".

Most of our client base comes to us from Franklin County, Rocky Mount and the Smith Mountain Lake area of south-side Virginia. We also cover location portrait sessions and events in the Roanoke Valley, Martinsville, Danville and Pittsylvania County."
